Led By a Pioneer in Purposeful Movement

Lea Wiens, BSc, BPE, CEP, is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and one of Canada’s foremost leaders in physical literacy, quality sport, and inclusive movement education.

With over 30 years of experience, she’s worked with everyone from national sport organizations and Indigenous communities to classrooms, nonprofits, and corporate teams. Her work has shaped long-term athlete development, inclusive policies, and movement education across Canada.

Intro Special Functional Fitness

1 hour @ $10.00

Think of this as Boot Camp for life! The class will be designed around evidence on longevity using the best types of exercises to help us live a long healthy life. So each session will be a unique combination of agility, balance and coordination exercises as well as basic strength exercises (weighs and body weight), a sprinkle of cardio (focus on short bursts of activity) and finishing with core and mobility exercises inspired by Pilates and yoga.
